I wanted a faux leather skirt for my fall/winter capsule wardrobe but didn’t want to invest as much in one as I would in other key pieces. This skirt was one of six I purchased from various places, and was hands-down the best.My main concern when ordering was that the length would make it too matronly. The other skirts I bought were all shorter - some even mini - and my husband said out of all of them, this was the sexy one. Definitely not what I expected. But the way it fits on the hips and waist is super flattering and definitely accentuates that part of my body.The faux leather is high quality and on par with other skirts I bought from Nordstrom. I was expecting to be hot (I’m a generally very sweaty person) I didn’t even get warm sitting on a leather couch for a couple hours or milling around a crowded event.In this pic I’ve paired it with a bodysuit and sneakers for a more casual look but given its versatility it can definitely work with a variety of looks.I’m 5’7” size 4-6 and the small fit well with some room to spare. I do think I could have done an XS but am satisfied with how this one fits.I know it seems pricey for Amazon but it’s absolutely worth it.
